		<description>One thing I will say: Owning gives you the power to make of it what you will.  Want to take down a non-structural wall?  Do it.  Want to replace the otherwise functional windows with more efficient triple glass?  Do it.  Want to replace the dying built-in microwave?  Do it, don&#039;t wait for the landlord.

Yes, owning may cost more.  Doing what you want with the space will almost certainly cost you something on top of bare mortgage.

But sometimes that power is worth it.

So maybe there&#039;s a compromise.  It&#039;s called a Condo.</description>
