Hi Kathryn! I like the idea of being accountable via "appointment." I just need to figure out who I can give that responsibility to! *g*

For me, mornings are much, much tougher. Just getting enough seems like enough work, some days...

Lise!

Awesomeness...:)

I agree with Kathryn.

For me:

- Having a partner to meet and support you changes the experience entirely.

- Try to find someone who knows what they are doing b/c it may help challenge you.

Good luck girl. Take it day by day, as the quality you do is more important than the quantity.

There are many ideas out there for how to trick yourself into exercising regularly.

For me, the only one that really worked was finding someone to make an "appointment" with..something that I was embarrassed to back out on. For a while that was a neighbor who would knock on my door at 6:30 am for a 1/2 hour walk. Later it was a gym partner who picks me up to go to the gym three days a week. It could also be an appointment with a trainer 3x a week for a couple of months until you get a habit going...or a class.

I also discovered over the years that I do best exercising in the morning. In the evening there are just too many distractions or excuses. In the morning, the only 'excuse' is that I'm too lazy to get out of bed...which even I have to admit is pretty lame. So I get up.

Good luck!
