I work for SMITH, the magazine where the six-word challenge originated (www.smithmag.net). I’ve been going around the internet looking for good ones, and I noticed yours on Retirement’s blog. I think it’s fantastic! I love memoirs that play around with the form (like “always an overachiever” – a memoir in half as many words). Yours is a lot like that. It shows that you’ve come a long way but realize there’s so much ahead of you. Well done! If you’re interested, you should post it on our site; we’ll consider it for our next book!
